Bill had an arsenal of weapons and seemed perfectly prepared for the siege, so it was probably for the best. Finding himself the only inhabitant of the town, he resolutely works to fortify his place with traps and gather supplies in order to live a life of solitude in luxury while the outside world collapses. .

It certainly looked like a juicy steak too.

Frank turns out to be a really nice guy and manages to break down Bill’s emotional wall. A little help from Linda Ronstadt). The two fall in love. The change in Offerman’s acting is remarkable. And despite their different personalities, they build a life together.

They became friends with Tess and Joel over the years, taking the smugglers out for meals and agreeing to work together. Tess and Frank hit it off right away, while the stricter Joel and Bill respect each other.

In 2010, raiders stormed the town. Joel warned Bill that something was going to happen. The bolstered defenses hold up, but Bill is shot and only survives because Frank patches him up.

“One more day please… Take me to the boutique, where we’ll pick out outfits for us. You wear what I asked you to wear, and we’ll get married. And you’re delicious.” I’ll make dinner,’ he said before taking a pill out of his pocket. “And you crush all this and put it in my wine, and I will drink it. Then you take my hand and take me to our bed, and , I will fall asleep in your arms.”

He rescues Ellie and Joel from a horde of infected, but wishes they were gone soon. Ellie and Joel form an uneasy alliance with him to get the car they need to continue their journey, and battle the infected to get to it.

They succeed in this mission, allowing Ellie and Joel to drive into the sunset (until things go horribly wrong again), allowing Bill to return to his isolation. his fate is unknown.

Bill and Frank’s sexuality is never revealed in-game, but is hinted at by a gay porn magazine Ellie found at home.

What about Frank?

We never see Frank alive in the game, as he and Bill fell out before Ellie and Joel arrived. At the end of their journey across town, the trio discover Frank’s body hanging in the house he used to live in.

It turns out that he chose to take his own life rather than be bitten by the infected and become a staggering monster.

“Well, Bill, I don’t think you’ll find this note because you were too scared to get to this part of town. I want you to know that I hated it, I’m tired of this shitty town and your attitude of sticking to your ways.”

“I wanted more from life and you never got it. And that stupid battery that kept you moaning – I got it But I think you were right. If you try to leave this town, you’ll kill me. Good luck, Frank.”
